With my job it is very common for me to drive two or more hours a day several times a week. This takes its toll on my back. When I am making regular visits to Dr. Wright I don't have back problems. I appreciate what Dr. Wright does for me.

I walked in to a quiet office and was greeted by a sweet lady named Juanita. She took me back to a warm waterbed that made me feel like I was in a hot tub, only I didn't get wet. Then I met Dr Wright. Dr Wright patiently took some xrays and then explained what was wrong. He has some "techniques" where he twists you up like a pretzel and then tries to yank off one of your legs or something. Hmmm. Well, I've been to chiropractors who use an "activator" (which he offered to do) but I must admit the pretzel thing is more effective. He knew I didn't like it and kept checking to see if I was okay with it. Then I got to go back to a bed with a huge lump that moves back and forth against the back. He explained that this keeps it from seizing up again in the future. Anyway, I've been coming here for a year and my headaches are gone and backaches are much improved. Plus, I've had two falls on the ice, and neither turned out as bad as I thought they would be. No broken bones and really not much pain. He says that if you are "limbered up" from the monthly appointments, you can handle falls better and I guess he's right. I'm 54, so not brittle yet, but the ground does seem further away than it did 20 years ago. This is the fourth chiropractor I've been to in my life, and he is top notch.
