About Our Practice

Dr. Timko utilizes specific gentle Spinal Adjustments, Passive and Active Rehabilitation and Targeted Nutrition to help you reach a new level of health and healing.

When a patient initially comes into our office, their first
thought is normally only about getting rid of pain. This is
understandable. That is why your first couple of
treatments will consist of gentle chiropractic adjustments
and passive therapies such as electrical muscle
stimulation (EMS), heat or ice and intersegmental

Once your pain begins to subside, studies have
shown that active therapies will help you to heal faster.
Our Active Rehabilitation programs include stretching,
strengthening and tractioning protocols designed with
your specific needs and abilities in mind. Our highly
trained therapists will work closely with the doctor to
make sure you receive the greatest benefit from your
time in our office. Think of Active Rehabilitation as the
"cement" that holds your adjustment in place.

For unresponsive disc problems, the utilization of our state of
the art DRX 9000C spinal decompression unit has
shown amazing results and could keep you from having
risky surgery!

Thompson Terminal Point TechniqueThompson Terminal Point Technique
Thompson Technique uses a special table with several segments called drop pieces. The table segments can be cocked up a fraction of an inch, so when the thrust is delivered, the table will drop. One of the benefits of Thompson technique is that the drop pieces assist the thrust therefore minimizing the force used for the adjustment. The majority of the spinal adjusting utilizing the Thompson Technique has the patient lying prone(face down). The Leg length analysis concept is another important aspect of the Thompson Technique. This is a method used to determine imbalance in the length of the legs when observed with the patient in a prone position ( face down) on the table.
